A Very Short History of Human Evolution - Why Things are as They are

The Path To Where We Are Now

In our early days, human consciousness was magical and undifferentiated like early childhood. We worshipped Nature and revered the female as the producer of children. Everything was inclusive and communal.

Then this began to feel limited…kind of like an emotional equivalent to a child’s playpen.

So the masculine aspect of humanity rose up to help the situation, and the male contribution to pregnancy was understood.

This brought in a new objectivity, the ability to reason and work with abstract thought. It really helped with problem solving and humanity’s use of tools.

This also fed an increased sense of differentiation and individuality in us.

But now our male aspect has gone too far. Wealth has become our measure of worth. Compassion has left and we exploit each other and Nature.

We are losing our natural world.

Humanity must now look to our feminine aspect and learn to love and bond with ourselves, others and all of life in a new way.

There has been no error in our development.

But now this next evolutionary step needs to be taken and we don’t know how to do it.

May we find a way.
